The DFW Center for Play Therapy Training offers a variety of training for both beginning and advanced mental health professionals that will encourage and support you as you develop the skills needed to be an effective play therapist. All training is presented in a relaxed, experiential atmosphere at our facility in Plano, Texas.
All training is approved for CE credit by the Association for Play Therapy and Texas LPC, LCSW, and LMFT licensing boards.

On the Road with Pam Dyson
"The Nuts and Bolts of Play Therapy Supervision," will be presented by Pam on October 8th, 2:00-5:30pm at the Association for Play Therapy Annual Conference in Louisville, KY.
"Mom's House, Dad's House: Play Therapy for Children of Divorce," and "Assessment and Treatment Planning and Involving Parents in the Play Therapy Process," will be presented by Pam on February 3-4, 2017 at the Southern Sandtray Institute in Jonesboro, AR.

About the Director
The Director of the DFW Center for Play Therapy Training, Pam Dyson, MA, LPC-S, RPT-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, and child development expert providing play therapy services, training, supervision and consultation.
She is a graduate of the 2012 Leadership Academy of the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and was a member of the 2013 and 2014 Leadership Academy Committees. In 2012 she served as a member of the APT Technology Task Force, and was the co-chair of the 2013-2014 APT Public Awareness Task Force. Pam was the recipient of the APT 2013 Key Award for Professional Education and Training.
In 2010, she founded the St. Louis Center for Play Therapy Training and in 2014, upon relocating to Texas, founded the DFW Center for Play Therapy Training. Pam is currently serving a three-year term (2014-2017) on the APT Board of Directors.
